During the 2011 edition of the World Baseball Challenge, Alex worked with several other announcers to bring coverage of the tournament to an audience in Prince George on CFIS 93.1 and around the world online through http://www.worldbaseball.ca/. Alex was lead play-by-play announcer for 8 games of the tournament, including the Championship game, which drew an online audience of 1250 connected computers.
